Terms of service
Effective 2026-09-27. These terms are an agreement between you and Wondefield Works LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"), which builds and operates MicroGraphs. They cover the MicroGraphs console at console.micrographs.dev, its documentation and APIs, and the applications we run under micrographs.dev (for example AI Help), together "the service". By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use the service for a company or another organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may do so; "you" then means that organization. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of these terms.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Give us accurate information, keep your password and API keys secret, and tell us at support@micrographs.dev if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the users you invite to your organizations and the agents you connect do there. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, keeping that account secure is part of keeping yours secure.
The service
MicroGraphs hosts graph databases, routes to databases you run elsewhere, and offers tools and applications on top of them. We keep improving it, so features change: we may add, change or retire features, and we give reasonable notice before we retire one you rely on. Features marked as preview, beta or early access are offered as they are and may change or end without notice; the release stages page shows which ones are in a preview. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we do not promise a particular uptime; we do work to keep the service running, back it up and tell you about incidents.
Your content
What you put into the service - your data, ontologies, files, documents, prompts and everything you build - stays yours. You give us the permission we need to host, copy, process, transmit and display it only to provide the service to you, to keep it secure, and as the law requires. We do not use your content to train models and we do not sell it. You are responsible for your content: you confirm you have the right to use it and to have us process it, and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. When you point a crawl at a website or upload documents, you confirm you may copy and index them.
You can export your data at any time with the service's export features.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- break the law, or infringe or misappropriate anyone's rights;
- store or send malware, spam, or content that exploits or harms children;
- attack, probe or overload the service or anyone else's systems, or get around its limits, caps, rate limits or security;
- crawl a website that forbids it, or at a rate that harms it;
- access another customer's data, or resell the service without our written permission;
- create accounts in bulk or by automation, or to evade a suspension.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend the accounts involved, as described below. Publishing to the marketplace is also under the Publisher agreement, which you sign before your first listing.
AI features
The assistant, the modeling agent, research jobs, "ask the docs" and the applications' answers are produced by AI models (Anthropic's, and Voyage AI's for semantic search). Their output can be wrong or incomplete: check it before you rely on it, and do not use it as professional (legal, medical, financial) advice. You are responsible for how you and your applications' users use it. When you bring your own model key, your use of that provider is also under its terms.
Third-party services
Parts of the service connect to services we do not control - Neo4j Aura, Amazon Neptune and other databases you route to, Google and GitHub for sign-in, the model providers above. Your use of them is under their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Fees and payment
The service has a free tier, and paid use beyond it, at the prices on the pricing page of the documentation. Today the free tier includes one Small database that pauses when idle, a monthly allowance of chat tokens, seven automatic backups kept free, and one application organization on starter limits. We may change the free tier and prices with at least 30 days' notice for paid use; a change never applies to usage before it takes effect.
Features that incur a charge stay disabled until you add payment information. Usage is metered by the hour, the token and the item as the pricing page says; each month's statement is fixed at the start of the next month and charged to your card with applicable taxes. When you save a card, you authorize us to charge it, without further action from you, for each month's statement on or after the 3rd of the next month and for credits you buy, in the amounts your usage and the pricing page determine. Prepaid credits you buy and credits we grant are applied before your card; credits have no cash value, last twelve months unless a grant says otherwise, and are not refundable except where the law requires. Prices exclude taxes, which you pay. If your billing address is in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we serve businesses only for now: a VAT number is required to add payment information, and VAT is reverse-charged to you.
If a charge fails we tell you first and try again. If the amount stays unpaid, we block use of the service - databases paused, organizations suspended, nothing deleted - 30 days after the failed charge when the statement is under $30, and 2 days after it from $30 up; paying lifts the block. An account that stays blocked for 90 days is deleted, after two notices by email.
Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are not refundable. If you think a charge is wrong, write to us within 60 days of it.
Suspension and ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the Settings page; an unpaid statement is settled first, and the month so far is charged when the account goes. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts the service, other customers or third parties at risk, if payment stays overdue as described above, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. When your account ends, you can export your data for 30 days; after that we delete it, as the privacy policy describes. Sections that by their nature should survive - your content, fees owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law - survive.
Our property and your feedback
The service, its software, documentation and the MicroGraphs name and marks are ours or our licensors'. These terms give you the right to use the service while your account is in good standing; they do not transfer ownership. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of data that matters to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if warned of them. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to either party's fraud or willful misconduct, or where the law does not allow them.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your applications' users, or your breach of these terms or of the law, and pay the resulting damages and reasonable costs, provided we tell you of the claim promptly and let you control its defense.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute belongs to the state or federal courts located in California, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Before going to court, write to us at support@micrographs.dev; we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can close your account.
General
These terms, the privacy policy and any order or written agreement we sign with you are the whole agreement about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them with our business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
